The Instructor

The Practitioner’s Edge

I’m not a professional software trainer (or website designer….). I’m a practicing Land Development professional who lives a few minutes from you and your team.

My name is Michael, and I spend my weeks exactly where you do: navigating township ordinances, hitting submittal deadlines, and managing the delicate balance between design intent and production speed.

I’m based right here in South Jersey. I’ve seen firsthand how a lack of foundational mastery turns a "simple site plan" into a budget-killer. I believe that by sharpening the most basic tool in our kit (2D CAD), we can make the entire industry more profitable and less stressful.

Why I’m doing this

This is my “side-hustle”, but I believe it feeds a real need. I started it because I saw a recurring "Production Gap" that was costing firms money and costing junior designers their sanity and self-esteem. I want to truncate the time it takes for our industry’s “green” employees to get from “costly” to “valuable.”

My Philosophy: "In the Trenches"

When you attend a bootcamp, you aren't getting a canned presentation from someone who hasn't touched a real project since the 2000s. You’re getting:

  • Real-World Logic: We use examples and shortcuts that I use daily on NJ and PA site plans.

  • Zero Fluff: If a command doesn't help you get a plan out the door faster, we don't cover it. I am not trying to impress anyone with breadth of knowledge.

  • Individualized Attention: Because I limit sessions to 8 seats, no attendee will need to leave the class feeling like their questions/concerns were not addressed.

A Limited Engagement

Because I am still "in the business," my time is limited. I only host these bootcamps a few times a year during windows in my project schedule.  And these bootcamps are only available as long as my circumstances permit.

I’m not presently looking to build a national training empire. I’m looking to help my peers in the New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania engineering community work smarter, deliver faster, and reclaim their weekends.
